The Simpsons' season 20 (September 2008 - Spring 2009) will begin airing on Fox in September of 2008. The season was officially confirmed by the network in May 2008 and will air during its usual time, Sundays at 8:00 PM. The season will reportedly premiere on September 28, 2008. Production for the season was put on hold due to the contract negotiations with the voice actors. The delay in production could mean that only 20 episodes are produced for the season, rather than 22.
